The final trip of this year’s ASPIRE PEACEPLUS Shared Education programme was a wonderful celebration when the children and staff of Galliagh Nursery School and Lisnagelvin Nursery School came together for a memorable day in Derry. The children enjoyed a visit to St. Columb’s Park, followed by a special group photograph with the Mayor of Derry on the iconic Peace Bridge.
The celebrations continued on Ebrington Square with songs and laughter led by the fantastic Dorren Laird and Jo Jingles, before everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch with cake and treats. We would like to sincerely thank all staff and children involved, Doreen Laird, Adam Montgomery, our parent volunteers, and everyone who helped make this programme such a success.
